Hello! This is my blog for posting and discussing ideas as part of my PhD research at  Culture Lab, Newcastle University. My research is exploring how experience-centred design approaches can be sensitively adapted when working with diverse communities to support participation for technology design. I am working with an action research iterative approach integrating participatory arts practice with narrative inquiry methods to explore the intersection between stories, digital representation and aspiration for groups of immigrant women at a centre in Newcastle. My supervision team consists of Professor Peter Wright, Dr. Areti Galani from the International Centre for Culture & Heritage Studies at Newcastle University and Dr. Jayne Wallace in the School of Design at Northumbria University.
